A seven-day-old Ongole calf presented with a bilateral carpal flexural deformity caused by deep digital flexor tendon (DDFT) contracture. Surgical intervention, tenectomy, was performed under sedation and local anesthesia. Post-operative immobilization with bamboo splints and a plaster of Paris cast facilitated successful recovery. The calf regained normal ambulation within 31 days, highlighting the efficacy of tenectomy and affordable immobilization techniques for congenital tendon anomalies in calves.
